Jason Lewis, the Republican candidate for Congress in Minnesota’s Second Congressional District, recently toured Werner Electric in Cottage Grove. Werner Electric is an electrical distributor with five locations in Minnesota.
“It is an honor to travel the Second District and hear from small business owners and our incredible business community,” Lewis said. “Over and over I hear the same concerns from the community – concerns like overregulation, an overly complicated tax code, high costs of health insurance under Obamacare, and the stagnant economic growth that has been crushing our businesses in Minnesota over the past eight years.”
“I understand the critical importance of our small businesses to our Minnesota economy, unlike Craig, who is more interested in the Democratic big business, big labor agenda. As your next Representative in Congress, I will fight for small businesses and an economic plan focused on restoring growth and jobs to Minnesota.”
Jason Lewis spent 25 years on the air as a voice in the national political conversation, talking with Minnesotans and Americans about solutions to our greatest problems. An active Minnesota resident for two decades, he and his wife Leigh have two young daughters, Lindsey and Lauren. Jason is also an author, public speaker, and started his career running Lewis Motor Supply, a small family business founded by his grandfather.
