I’m with Jason Lewis
May 3, 2016My name is Jerry Hollenkamp and for years I’ve been on the front lines for constitutional conservatism whether advocating for life or free markets.
Indeed, I was a Dakota County Commissioner from 1970 to 1986 and was the highest ranking elected official in the State who was “publicly” supporting Ronald Reagan as early as 1976.
It may be no surprise to you then that I was an early supporter of David Gerson, even appearing on his website, when he challenged incumbent John Kline a few years ago.
But that was then and this is now.
After much careful thought and analysis, I’ve come to the firm conclusion that Jason Lewis is the only candidate in the 2nd District who can defeat the Democrats in the fall.
The other two establishment candidates aren’t even competing for the endorsement and, well, David just can’t win. He doesn’t have the resources nor the broad base of support to win in a primary, let alone a general election.
I’ve talked at length with Jason and he means what he says on all the issues important to folks like us-more freedom, less government (at home and abroad). He’s a fighter who says what he means and won’t back down. He can win.
Please consider your choice carefully because if the wrong candidate is endorsed on Saturday, the Democrats will take the 2nd-and the country can’t afford that.
