Jason Lewis Announces Endorsement of State Representative Jon Koznick, HD58A
Mar 7, 2016Republicans across Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District continue to line up behind the candidacy of Jason Lewis. Lewis, a long time leader in the conservative movement, is proud to announce the endorsement of State Representative Jon Koznick.
In announcing his endorsement, Representative Koznick stated, “I wholly endorse Jason Lewis in the race to represent MN-02. Jason’s conservative principles and his ability to articulate policy positions are critical assets in what is expected to be a competitive general election contest. I thank Jason and his family for running, and for being willing to fight on behalf of the hardworking citizens and families in Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District.”
Jason Lewis issued the following comment in response to the endorsement from Representative Koznick, “I am honored to have the support of a terrific leader and local small business owner from Lakeville, Jon Koznick. It’s humbling to add Jon to the list of folks who are joining Team Lewis. After eight years of failed Democrat leadership, it’s critical we send folks to Washington who will fight for the kind of pro-growth policies that will put us on a path toward true economic recovery. We look forward to working tirelessly in our campaign with our grassroots endorsement team to ensure this seat is won by a true fiscal conservative.”

Lewis has also been endorsed by the influential Freedom Club.
Jon Koznick has represented House District 58A since 2014. House District 58A is located in Dakota County and includes the city of Lakeville. Representative Koznick is a small business owner, graduate of St. Cloud University and resides in Lakeville with his wife and two daughters.
Jason Lewis spent 25 years on the air as a voice in the conservative movement. An active Minnesota resident for two decades, he and his wife Leigh have two young daughters, Lindsey and Lauren. Jason organized the first annual tax rally that has become a tradition in St. Paul, with thousands gathering to fight to keep more of what they earn. Jason is also an author, public speaker, and started his career as a business owner running Lewis Motor Supply, a small business founded by his grandfather.
