Returning Power To The States
Jan 12, 2016The genius of federalism is a system of government that accounts for the diversity of human beings by allowing the states to compete for the governed. Instead, Washington has nationalized the economy (including healthcare and energy), taken control of the police power with over 4,500 federal crimes on the books and in the process, has taken from state legislatures the power of self-government. Breaking up the monopoly in Washington is the surest way to let the citizens of the 2nd District live under the laws they helped create.
