Jason Lewis For Congress Announces Influential Freedom Club PAC Endorsement

Today, Jason Lewis, the conservative, grassroots candidate for Congress, announced the endorsement of Minnesota’s influential Freedom Club PAC.

The Freedom Club is Minnesota’s premier organization dedicated to preserving economic prosperity for all, focusing on smaller government, lower taxes, less spending, freedom of employment and election integrity. The group’s membership is comprised of business leaders, entrepreneurs and civic leaders in Minnesota.

Past Freedom Club PAC endorsements for federal office have included Senator Norm Coleman, Congressman Erik Paulsen, Congressman John Kline, Congressman Tom Emmer, Congressman Mark Kennedy and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.

Lewis issued the following comments in response to the Freedom Club PAC endorsement:

“I am honored to have the support of this vital group of dedicated men and women who belong to the Freedom Club, many of whom I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for the better part of two decades,” Jason said in response to this endorsement. “The Freedom Club is Minnesota’s leading advocate for the cause of smaller government, lower taxes, and economic freedom for all. Those are principles I wholeheartedly support, believe in and will fight for on behalf of the hardworking families and citizens of Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District.”

Jason has received endorsements from more than a dozen leaders in Minnesota, including - Senator Dan Hall, Senator Karin Housley, Senator Dave Thompson, Representative Tony Albright, Representative Mark Anderson, former State Representative Laura Brod, Representative Steve Drazkowski, Representative Kathy Lohmer, Representative Linda Runbeck, former Chair of the MNGOP Bill Cooper, South St. Paul Councilman Bill Flatley, and CEO and former gubernatorial candidate Brian Sullivan.

Jason Lewis spent 25 years on the air as a voice in the conservative movement. An active Minnesota resident for two decades, he and his wife Leigh have two young daughters. Jason organized the first annual tax rally that has become a tradition in St. Paul, with thousands gathering to fight to keep more of what they earn. Jason is also an author, public speaker, and started his career as a business owner running an automotive aftermarket business founded by his grandfather.
