A Unanimous Endorsement
Apr 21, 2018Eagan, MN - Following his endorsement at today’s convention, Congressman Jason Lewis released the below statement:
“I am honored and humbled to have received the unanimous endorsement by the Second Congressional District Republicans today. In 2016, I campaigned on the need to reform our archaic tax code, rein in the overreaching involvement of the federal government on our daily lives, and defend our rights and liberties and during my first term in Congress we have done just that. But there is far more work to get done and I’m proud to have the backing of the dedicated activists in Minnesota’s Second District.
“There is a lot at stake in 2018, but I am confident that with the backing of this energized group of Republicans who are committed to the same principles I’m working to uphold, we will come out victorious once again.”
