Ellison 2.0 for Minnesota’s Second?

Burnsville, MN – Today, Jason Lewis for Congress Campaign Manager Becky Alery released the following statement:

“While the rest of the country seems to be just beginning to realize how radical Keith Ellison is, most of us here in Minnesota have been well aware for quite a while.

“Since taking office, Minnesota’s 5th district Congressman and current DNC Deputy Chair, Ellison has consistently advocated for the progressive left often thumbing his nose to the stances of his fellow Democrats from the Minnesota delegation to serve as one of the most liberal members in Congress. And last year, he shared his support for the far-left organization Antifa, known for their violent and disruptive tendencies.

“But, one area that may surprise Minnesotans is the close relationship between Ellison and Angie Craig. Last Month, the Progressive Congressional Caucus – of which Ellison is Vice Chair – endorsed Craig. And just two weeks ago, Ellison came to CD 2 to campaign for Craig. He’s even donated $5,000 to help get Craig elected.

“While Craig attempts to keep their relationship under wraps, Minnesotans deserve to know the truth. That Craig is far more progressive than she wants you to believe.

“Do the people of Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District really want a mini-Ellison to represent them?

“I think not.”
