ICYMI: ASSOCIATED BUILDERS AND CONTRACTORS OF MINNESOTA ENDORSES JASON LEWIS
Oct 14, 2016
The state’s largest association of merit shop construction companies, the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Minnesota, today announced that it has endorsed Jason Lewis for Congress.
ABC endorses candidates who champion free market principles and who defend the merit shop philosophy. This philosophy encourages open competition and a free-enterprise approach to construction based solely on merit, regardless of labor affiliation.
“For years, Mr. Lewis has talked about the need to change outdated laws and regulations that favor organized labor but harm the majority of craft professionals who choose not to join a labor union.” said Robert Heise, President of ABC Minnesota. “We are pleased to endorse Mr. Lewis in his campaign to become the next Congressman for the Second Congressional District because he will be a champion for the merit shop contractors who build our schools, hospitals, roads, restaurants, and offices.”
