RELEASE: FORECASTING DEBATE #2: WILL ANGIE CRAIG CONTINUE TO AVOID TALKING ABOUT HER RADICAL ISSUE POSITIONS?
Oct 20, 2016With the second debate in MN-02 today, Team Lewis is looking forward to learning whether Angie Craig will continue her pattern of distractions and distortions in order to avoid talking about her radical agenda for Minnesota.
At last week’s debate, we saw a continuation of Craig’s off-the-shelf, slash and burn campaign strategy:
- Keep the focus off of her own issue agenda,
- Cardboard cutout DC talking points – offering little by way of detail and actual plans,
- Train fire on Jason – over, and over, and over again…
In the first debate, Jason Lewis continued to share his positive message focused on solutions and restoring fiscal prosperity for Minnesotans, while Craig all but refused to answer questions directly, except when it came to her doubling down on her commitment to expand ObamaCare.
The voters of the Second District deserve to hear candidate Craig defend her radical policy positions – including open borders, higher taxes, an Obamacare expansion and support of an out-of-control EPA. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely Craig will do anything but continue her canned, insider attacks at today’s debate.
