June 23, 2016 – Cottage Grove, MN… Jason Lewis, the Republican Party of Minnesota’s endorsed candidate for Congress, is proud to announce the endorsement of U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R – KY) in the race for Minnesota’s Second Congressional District.

In announcing his endorsement, Senator Paul said, “I am thrilled to support Jason Lewis in his candidacy for Congress. Jason will be a champion for limited government, a balanced budget and the protection of our individual liberties. While Jason might be Minnesota nice, he’ll always be a staunch defender of the Constitution. Today I stand with Jason and I hope you will too!”

Jason Lewis said, “Senator Paul has been one of the strongest and most effective fighters on behalf of federalism, liberty, and smaller, smarter government in the U.S. Senate. Most important, he is a Senator who takes his constitutional oath seriously so I am truly honored to have his support and look forward to working with him in Washington as the next Congressman from Minnesota’s Second District.”

Jason Lewis spent 25 years on the air as a voice in the conservative movement. An active Minnesota resident for two decades, he and his wife Leigh have two young daughters.
